Its advanced dual-band WiFi 6 platform delivers up to 6.3 Gbps of combined wireless capacity, while 4096-QAM technology introduces performance benefits associated with newer WiFi standards.

Built for demanding outdoor installations, the AP6-Pro Outdoor features an IP68-rated enclosure and operates in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 70°C, making it suitable for year-round use in exposed locations. Its omnidirectional antenna design provides coverage in every direction, while intelligent mesh technology helps extend connectivity to areas where Ethernet cabling may be difficult to install.

Four 5 GHz antennas, 4×4 MU-MIMO, MU-OFDMA and beamforming help support high device density, efficient data transmission and seamless roaming. Support for 802.11k, 802.11v and 802.11r allows compatible devices to move smoothly between access points with minimal interruption.

The access point is powered through PoE+, reducing installation clutter by carrying power and data through a single Ethernet cable. A built-in pole mount and included wall-mount adapter provide flexible installation options for villas, gardens, terraces, swimming-pool areas, warehouses, schools, hotels, cafés and other outdoor environments.

Network administrators can configure and monitor the AP6-Pro Outdoor remotely through the Alta Management platform or the Alta Networks mobile app. AltaPass™ multi-password technology allows different users to connect to the same SSID with separate passwords and customized VLANs, speed limits, filtering rules and access permissions.
