Good to know

Great for fruit and vegetable scraps, meat, fish, poultry bones, eggshells, coffee grounds and tea bags. Add dairy, sauces, bread and rice in small amounts; cut up corn cobs and fibrous stems first. Avoid beef bones, cardboard, oils and fats, candy, gum and "compostable" plastics. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth — the bucket self-cleans during each cycle and is not dishwasher-safe.
